Commission supports reform projects in Member States for more jobs and sustainable growth

Today, the Commission presents 226 selected reform projects under the Technical Support Instrument (TSI) along with the new TSI Work Programme.

Strengthening the institutional and administrative capacity to design and implement reforms and investments is essential to foster resilience and underpin recovery. For this reason, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen wanted the creation of the Directorate-General for Structural Reform Support (DG REFORM): to help EU Member States carry out reforms to support job creation and sustainable growth.

This support is primarily provided through the Technical Support Instrument (TSI), the Commission’s main instrument to provide technical support to reforms in EU Member States. It is part of the Multiannual Financial Framework 2021-2027 and of the Recovery Plan for Europe. For more details:
