Selection of partners to carry out Europe Direct activities (2026 – 2030) in Malta
The European Commission, via its Representation in Malta, is launching a call for proposals to select partners to run EUROPE DIRECT in Malta and Gozo
The Europe Direct offices are part of a network that helps citizens to have a better understanding of the EU and how the EU affects their daily lives, and works to increase involvement in the EU project.
New programming period: 1 January 2026 – 31 December 2030
· Technical content of the proposal: a five-year communication strategy and an annual communication plan for 2026
· Submission of the proposal: via the electronic submission system of the EU Funding & Tenders Portal
· Deadline for submission: 17 June 2025 at 17:00 CET
The European Commission's representation in Malta is expected to finance 2 proposals(1 for Malta and 1 for Gozo).
Q. We understand that the EU grant does not cover 100% of the costs. However, we are unable to find information on the required applicant financing rate.
A. “Applicants must ensure that the resources necessary to carry out activities as EUROPE DIRECT centres are not entirely funded by the EU grant.”
Therefore, no minimum co-financing rate is required, but co-financing must be ensured.
