In its regular package of infringement decisions, the European Commission pursues legal action against Member States for failing to comply with their obligations under EU law.
The Commission has today published its fifth annual Rule of Law Report, examining systematically and objectively rule of law developments in all Member States on an equal basis.
“Investing in Education” is part of DG EAC’s in-house activities for the public of the European Commission’s Learning Lab on Investing in Quality Education and Training, which supports EU countries in further developing a culture of evaluation in education.
The key decisions taken by the Commission are presented below and grouped by policy area. The Commission is also closing 74 cases in which the issues with the Member States concerned have been solved without the Commission needing to pursue the procedure further.
