Żanżan Kelma

Żanżan Kelma is an initiative that encourages children to discover the beauty of the Maltese language in a creative, enjoyable and participatory way. Through this experience, children are given the opportunity to express themselves in Maltese, strengthen their appreciation of the language, and become more confident in using it in different contexts.

The initiative aims to spark curiosity about Maltese words, sounds and expressions, while encouraging participants to use the language as a means of thought, communication and creativity. Żanżan Kelma gives children the space to explore the language freely and positively, and to appreciate it as an important part of their identity.
